- One day after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan's capital city Kabul on Sunday, hundreds of people fled to the tarmac at Hamid Karzai International Airport trying to find a way to evacuate the country.
- As the C-17 aircraft taxied on the runway, people clung to the outside of the plane.
- Video that has since gone viral showed at least two bodies falling from the aircraft as it took off.
