PepsiCo Sells Tropicana, Naked Juice Brands

PepsiCo announced on Tuesday that it will be selling Tropicana and Naked juices for $3.3 billion.

  • The company is selling the juice brands to private equity firm PAI Partners.
  • PepsiCo intends to use part of the proceeds for debt reduction.
  • PepsiCo bought Tropicana in 1998 and Naked in 2006. Both made about $3 billion in sales in 2020.
  • Do you think people still drink juices like they used to? Do you prefer soda or juice when it comes to sweet beverages?
