LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A brush fire early today near the eastbound Marina (90) Freeway caused the closure of the Culver Boulevard on-ramp.

The cause of the fire, which was reported at 12:03 a.m., was possibly due to dry grass, said Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol.

There was a homeless encampment near the fire but it was not immediately known if the encampment was affected by the fire, Kimball said.
