Charles Grodin, Genius of Deadpan Comedy Passes Away at 86.

Charles Grodin, the legendary and comedic genius has passed away, he was 86. Grodin was known for his deadpan approach to all his roles. Deliciously dry comedy that was a scene-stealer.

Grodin began his career on Broadway

Tchin-Tchin(1962)
Absence of a Cello(1964)
Same Time, Next Year(1975)

But, he was best known for roles in

The Heartbreak Kid
Heaven Can Wait
Midnight Run
The Great Muppet Caper
and the Beethoven movies (FUN FACT: Our very own Chris Little, News director played a reporter in one of the Beethoven movies).

A true talent. RIP
