Save your masks! You may need them after this pandemic is over. Leading infectious-disease expert Anthony Fauci says data shows wearing masks has helped stop the spread of other viruses, like the flu. He says people may decide to continue wearing masks during certain seasons.
Fauci says:
“We’ve had practically a nonexistent flu season this year merely because people were doing the kinds of public health things that were directed predominantly against covid-19.”
