POMONA (CNS) - One person was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and 10 were cited for other violations at a DUI checkpoint in Pomona, authorities said this morning.
The checkpoint was conducted between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday at Mission Boulevard and Linden Street, according to the Pomona Police Department.
In addition to the DUI arrest, 10 drivers were cited for driving without a license or with a suspended or revoked license. Two vehicles were towed, the department said.
In 2018, Pomona police responded to 127 DUI crashes that injured 49 people.
