Santa Ana Police Looking for Molestation Suspect

SANTA ANA (CNS) - Santa Ana police today asked for the public's help to find the man accused of molesting three teenage girls in the apartment complex where he lived.

Miguel Angel Tampa Ferrer, 36, was accused of molesting the three girls -- two age 13 and a third 16 -- between March 2019 and December 2020, said Santa Ana Police Department Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.

Ferrer was renting a room in the apartment complex in the 800 block of South Sullivan Street where he is accused of molesting a relative, who was 13, and two of the girl's friends, Bertagna said.

Ferrer said through his attorney that he would turn himself in but never showed up, Bertagna said.

“He knows he's wanted,'' Bertagna said.

Anyone who may know where he is was asked to call detectives at 714-245-8302 or email mnolen@santa-ana.org.
