Man Receives Final Paycheck In Oil-Covered Pennies

A Georgia man received his final and overdue paycheck from a local auto shop in the form of oil-covered pennies with a note that said "eff you!"

Andreas Flaten received a delivery of 90,000 pennies all soaked in greasy oil and dumped on his driveway. It arrived 4 months after Flaten quit his job at AOK Walker Autoworks according to Huff Post. His girlfriend Olivia Oxley posted it on instagram.

"First things first, when my boyfriend quit he gave a written resignation letter complete with two weeks notice. After Miles Walker of AOK Walker autoworks continued to be mean and make a normal work day hell, making unnecessary comments about my boyfriends daughter and just being an all around bad person, that two weeks turned into 5 days." said Oxley

Initially Walker refused to give Flaten his last check until the word lawyer was brought up. That's when he received the pennies. When Walker was asked about it he said,

"I don't know if I did that or not. I don't really remember. It doesn't matter; he got paid, that's all that matters."

Other former employees of A OK Walker Autoworks confirmed that the repair shop had a toxic work environment, with Walker disparaging female employees and ripping paystubs in front of workers. The business has received numerous negative reviews on Yelp since this story came out.
