Newark's Darius Brown was always a snappy dresser. As a child he began making his own bow ties on his sister's sewing machine. His friends liked them so much, he made some for them. After Hurricane Irma caused a bunch of dogs and cats to be transferred to shelters near him, Darius began making the spiffy neckwear for THEM!
It's a well-known fact that shelter animals in bow ties have a higher adoption rate, so Darius works to make sure they all can look as elegant as Orville Redenbacher.
You can actually buy one his bow ties at his Beaux and Paws online store and see his handiwork on his Instagram account @sirdariusbrown
