Average L.A. County Gas Price Hits Highest Level Since November 2019

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 30th consecutive day and 50th time in 51 days, increasing nine-tenths of a cent to $3.846, its highest amount since Nov. 30, 2019.

The average price has increased 49.8 cents in the past 51 days, including 1.3 cents on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 7.7 cents more than one week ago, 30.8 cents higher than one month ago and 36.7 cents greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price rose for the 31st consecutive day and 64th time in 65 days, increasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.835, its highest amount since Nov. 25, 2019. It has increased 61.1 cents in the last 65 days, including 1.1 cents on Wednesday.

The Orange County average price is 8.5 cents more than one week ago, 31.6 cents higher than one month ago and 40.2 cents greater than one year ago.
