Average LA County Gas Price Rises to Highest Level Since December 2019

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 28th consecutive day and 48th time in 49 days, increasing 1.1 cents to $3.824, its highest amount since Dec. 2, 2019.

The average price has increased 47.6 cents in the past 49 days, including a half-cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 6.9 cents more than one week ago, 30.5 cents higher than one month ago and 31.4 cents greater than one year ago.

The Orange County average price rose for the 29th consecutive day and 62nd time in 63 days, increasing 1.1 cents to $3.817, its highest amount since Nov. 26, 2019. It has increased 59.3 cents in the last 63 days, including one cent on Monday.

The Orange County average price is 7.7 cents more than one week ago, 31.3 cents higher than one month ago and 34.9 cents greater than one year ago.
