Dog Food Recalled Over Salmonella, Listeria Risk For Dogs And Humans

A recall of dog food has been issued by the FDA due to a possible salmonella and listeria outbreak found at Bravo Packing, Inc. in New Jersey.

The recall concerns Bravo Packing’s ground beef and Performance Dog raw pet food where a routine inspection found both salmonella and listeria in the food.

If the tainted food is eaten by pets, they could suffer lethargy, diarrhea, bloody stools, fever or vomiting.

Humans can also be infected when handling the food and not washing their hands or surfaces where the pet food was stored.

The FDA says that if you have any of the recalled products from Bravo Packing throw them away.
