COMPTON (CNS) - A man was found shot to death today in Compton and the shooter remained at large, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting in the 1500 block of East Kay Street was reported a little before 11 a.m. and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, department said. The victim's name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Detectives reported the man had suffered one gunshot wound and was found in an underground parking structure, the LASD reported. A motive for the attack was unknown. A description of the shooter was not yet available.
