Average L.A. County Gas Price Rises For 32nd Time in 32 Days

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 32nd time in 33 days, increasing 1.7 cents to $3.638, its highest amount since Dec. 24, 2019.  

The average price has increased 29 cents in the past 33 days, including 1.7 cents on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 8.8 cents more than one week ago, 27.4 cents higher than one month ago and 6.5 cents more than one year ago.  

The Orange County average price rose for the 46th time in 47 days, increasing 1.2 cents to $3.63, its highest amount since Dec. 12, 2019. It has increased 40.6 cents in the last 47 days, including 1.6 cents on Saturday.  

The Orange County average price is 9.7 cents more than one week ago, 28.1 cents higher than one month ago and 11.2 cents greater than one year ago.
