`The Little Things' Stays Atop Box Office With $2.1 Million

LOS ANGELES (`The Little Things' Stays Atop Box Office With $2.1 MillionCNS) - “The Little Things'' held onto its spot atop the box office this weekend, grossing $2.1 million, according to industry estimates released today.  

The serial killer thriller starring Denzel Washington, which is also available on the HBO Max streaming service, beat out “The Croods: A New Age,'' which made $1.76 million Friday through Sunday in its 11th week at theaters in the United States and Canada, Comscore reported.  

“The Marksman'' was third with $1 million, followed by “Wonder Woman 1984'' with $905,000 and “Monster Hunter'' with $585,000.  

Rounding out the top 10 domestic releases, as estimated by Comscore, were “News Of The World'' ($400,000), “Promising Young Woman'' ($220,000),

“Fatale'' ($170,000), “The War With Grandpa'' ($167,333) and “Earwig And The Witch'' ($99,941).  

Indoor movie theaters in Southern California are closed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic, leaving only limited outdoor screenings.
