Pediatrician Says Mental Health Consequences Are Being Ignored

Pediatrician Dr. Steven Abelowitz talked to John & Ken to further discuss mental health issues related to school closures and the pandemic. Dr. Abelowitz has prescribed more anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication than at anytime during his practice. According to Dr. Abelowitz, this is a very scary growing trend.

Dr. Steven Abelowitz, M.D. FAAP, is Board certified in Pediatric Medicine and has been practicing for over 20 years. Dr. Abelowitz serves as Medical Director and President of COASTAL KIDS PEDIATRIC MEDICAL GROUP in Newport Beach, Laguna Niguel, Ladera Ranch, and Irvine.
