Tiger King Passed Over for Pardon; Says It's Because He Was "Too Gay"

Netflix star Joe Exotic will remain behind bars for the foreseeable future for attempting to hire a hitman to kill his archrival, Carol Baskin.

Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, aka “Joe Exotic” in last year’s wildly popular Netflix series “Tiger King,” spoke out against former President Donald Trump’s refusal to pardon him in his final days in office.

Exotic released a statement on his Twitter account saying “I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post.”

It turns out his hopes of walking free this week wasn’t the only stretch.

He and his supporters were so sure that he’d be pardoned that they parked a rented limousine a half mile from the prison. They also prepared a video to thank Trump if Exotic landed on the list of pardons and commutations.
