Average L.A. County Gas Price Rises to Highest Amount Since March 20

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 13th consecutive day and 18th time in 19 days, increasing nine-tenths of a cent to $3.323.

The average price has risen 11.1 cents over the past 19 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Thursday, to its highest amount since March 20, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 5.6 cents more than one week ago and 17.6 cents higher than one month ago but 27.9 cents less than one year ago.

The Orange County average price rose for the 10th consecutive day to its highest amount since March 18, increasing 1.2 cents to $3.307. It has risen 8.9 cents over the past 10 days, including 1 cent on Thursday.

The Orange County average price is 5.5 cents more than one week ago and 17.2 cents higher than a month ago but 24.3 cents less than one year ago.
