Four Wounded in South Los Angeles Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A shooting in the Green Meadows area of South Los Angeles left four people wounded and the suspects were on the loose this morning.

The victims were standing on a corner near the intersection of 89th Street and Central Avenue around 8 p.m. Tuesday when four suspects walked up and opened fire, then ran off in an unknown direction, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

All four were taken to hospitals with stable vital signs, the department said.

It was unclear if the shooting was gang-related.

Descriptions of the shooters were not immediately available.
