Southland Gas Prices Rise Again

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose a half-cent today to $3.244, its highest amount since March 23.

The average price has risen nine of the past 10 days and is 1.7 cents more than one week ago, 9.2 cents higher than one month ago, but 36.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price also rose a half-cent to $3.223. It is1.7 cents more than one week ago and 9.6 cents higher than a month ago, but 31.4 cents less than one year ago.
