LASD Detectives Investigate Deadly Shooting in Norwalk

NORWALK (CNS) - A man was shot to death in Norwalk and the suspect was on the loose this morning.  

Deputies responded at 6:45 p.m. Friday to a call of a gunshot victim in the 10900 block of Rosecrans Avenue, near the San Gabriel Valley (605) Freeway, where they found a man seated in his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.  

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  

A description of the shooter was not available.  

The age and name of the victim was not disclosed.
