LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.153 one day after remaining unchanged.
The average price is two-tenths of a cent less one week ago, a half-cent lower than one month ago and 60.3 cents cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 46.2 cents since the start of the year.
The average price has changed by one-tenth of a cent or been unchanged for three consecutive days.
The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.128 after dropping one-tenth of a cent Sunday. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 54.9 cents lower than one year ago but eight-tenths of a cent more than one month ago. The Orange County average price has decreased 41.7 cents since the start of the year.
