Los Angeles City COVID-19 Mobile Testing Group Updates List Of Pop-Up Sites

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The Los Angeles City Mobile Testing Group today announced its schedule for next several days of where and when COVID-19 testing will be offered to people who are unable to drive to a site.

The pop-up testing sites open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday will be at:

-- Sears (in the parking lot), 2650 E. Olympic Blvd.;

-- Vallarta Canoga Park (in the parking lot), 8201 Topanga Canyon Blvd.;

-- St. Elisabeth Church (on the sidewalk), 14655 Kittridge St., Van Nuys; and

-- YMCA Crenshaw (on the sidewalk), 3820 Santa Rosalia Drive.

Pop-up testing sites that will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday will be at:

-- Iglesia Ni Cristo Church (on the sidewalk), 14308 Nordhoff St., Panorama City;

-- Felicitas & Gonzalo Mendez High School (on the sidewalk), 120 N. Mission Rd.;

-- Food 4 Less (in the parking lot), 1651 E. 103rd St.;

-- South LA Regional Center (on the sidewalk), 2500 S. Western Ave.; and

-- E. Cesar E. Chavez and Soto St. (on the sidewalk), 236 N. Soto St.

This testing is walk-up only and no appointment is necessary, but people can register in advance by clicking the location links at corona-virus.la/mobile-pop-covid-19-testing-locations. A list of future dates and locations of pop-up mobile testing sites is also available on the website.

Participants are asked by the city to bring their health insurance information. People who don't have insurance are asked to bring their drivers license or another form of identification. There is no cost to patients for any test, regardless of whether they have insurance.
