Will Safety Be Taking A Holiday?! New Poll Says 1 in 3 Parents Think So...

Despite warnings from the CDC and other officials, Americans flocked to airports over the weekend for Thanksgiving week travel. According to the TSA, more than 3 million people went through airport security between Friday and Sunday.

While that's nowhere near the kind of traffic you would usually see on a typical Thanksgiving weekend, it was the biggest air travel weekend since March! But many health experts are still urging Americans to cancel their Thanksgiving travel plans as COVID-19 numbers continue to spike...

Despite those warnings, one-third of parents say family get-togethers for Thanksgiving are worth the risk of catching or spreading COVID-19. That's according to a new poll released on Monday by the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital National Poll on Children’s Health.

Over half of parents felt it was "very important" that children were allowed to see extended family and share in family holiday traditions, despite warnings from top health officials.
