Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $3.151, one day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.

The average price is three-tenths of a cent more than one week ago but 3.8 cents less than one month ago and 85.8 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 46.4 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.117, one day after dropping three-tenths of a cent. It is four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 3.4 cents lower than one month ago and 83.7 cents cheaper than one year ago. The Orange County average price has decreased 42.8 cents since the start of the year.
