Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $3.158 one day after dropping a half-cent.

The average price is eight-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 4.2 cents lower than one month ago and 96.1 cents cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 45.7 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.12 after dropping 11 of the previous 12 days to its lowest amount since July 22.

It is eight-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 4.5 cents lower than one month ago and 95.4 cents cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 42.5 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price decreased 2.4 cents over the previous 12 days, including one-tenth of a cent on Friday.
