Arby's Parent Company To Acquire Dunkin'

The company behind Arby's and Jimmy John's is set to acquire another two more major food brands - Dunkin' and Baskin Robbins.

  • Dunkin' is reportedly in talks to sell the company to Inspire Brands for $8.8 billion.
  • The pandemic has hurt Dunkin's sales, with fewer people grabbing their morning coffee while commuting to work.
  • News of the sale sent Dunkin's stock price up 15% on Monday.

Inspire is a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than

  • 11,000 Arby's
  • Buffalo Wild Wings
  • SONIC Drive-In
  • Rusty Taco
  • and Jimmy John's locations worldwide.
