An Otter Found Love Through an Online Dating Site

Love is hard and finding a new partner is a rough road, however one animal has had better luck than most!

Harris, a ten-year-old Asian short-clawed otter, has found his new significant otter (HAHA) through an online dating site-that was built just for him.

The otter living at Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Cornwall, England had recently lost his longtime partner, Apricot and was alone for the first time in four years.

The team at the sanctuary created a dating site called "Fishing for Love," hoping to find a mate for Harris. Like human dating profiles, his listed his star qualities:

"I am very attentive, I love a cuddle, and I am a very good listener, I will love you like no otter."

Harris was matched up with Pumpkin, an otter from the Sea Life Scarborough sanctuary who also had just lost her partner.

Tamara Cooper of Cornish Seal Sanctuary says that they will miss having Harris around, but "we will be keeping in touch regularly to see how him and Pumpkin get on."
