Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged today, remaining at $3.227, one day after dropping three-tenths of a cent.

The average price is one-tenth of a cent more than a week ago and 3.8 cents higher than one month ago but 45.2 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 38.8 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.202, one day after dropping two-tenths of a cent. It is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago and 44.9 cents lower than one year ago but 2.7 cents higher than one month ago. It has decreased 34.1 cents since the start of the year.
