Police Called to Break Up Large Woodland Hills House Party

WOODLAND HILLS (CNS) - Police were called by neighbors to a Woodland Hills house early this morning to break up a party with about 100 people in attendance.

They arrived about 3 a.m. to the house in the 5000 block of Escobedo Drive after neighbors complained the party was loud, that the streets were clogged with vehicles and a man who looked like an armed security guard was trying to manage several angry partygoers, according to Officer William Cooper of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

The crowd dispersed without incident after police arrived.

Last month, Mayor Eric Garcetti authorized the Department of Water and Power to shut off water and power to properties where large parties and gatherings are held to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
