Little Change to Average Southland Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.227, one day after remaining unchanged.

The average price is nine-tenths of a cent more than a week ago and 5 cents higher than one month ago but 43.8 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 38.8 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.204, one day after increasing three-tenths of a cent. It is three-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 4 cents higher than one month ago but 43.2 cents less than one year ago. It has decreased 34.1 cents since the start of the year.
