How and When to Watch the 2020 Perseid Meteor Shower

The Perseids meteor shower is making its way across the night sky and we have all the info on how you can watch!

The shower peaks on August 11th and 12th, with almost 75 meteors per hour.

The best time to wacth is between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 1 a.m. Wednesday which is the darkest time of the night before the moon rises.

For those who can't stay up that late, a few shooting stars will be visible around 9 pm.

The Perseids can be seen with the naked eye, but if you can't see them NASA will stream the shower live on its Facebook page.
