Man Killed in Huntington Park Shooting, Suspect Sought

HUNTINGTON PARK (CNS) - An investigation was underway this morning into the shooting death of a man in Huntington Park.

The shooting occurred in the 2600 block of Slauson Avenue about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Deputy James Nagao of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which was assisting Huntington Park police with an investigation into the shooting.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Nagao said. The victim's age and name were not disclosed.

A motive for the shooting and a description of the shooter were not immediately available.
