Pro Sports Are Welcomed In Florida According To Governor

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Holds Coronavirus Press Briefing

As Pro Sports figures out a way to continue their seasons, the state of Florida is offering up their stadium to all sports to play and practice in if need be.

Gov. Ron DeSantis not only says 'play ball' to pro sports teams in Florida, but has offered an open invite to every team.

"All professional sports are welcome here for practicing and for playing," ESPN reports DeSantis said at a Wednesday presser.

Adding, "What I would tell commissioners of the leagures is, if you have a team in an area where they just won't let them operate, we'll find a place for you here in the state of Florida."

The announcement comes a day after Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey tossed out a proverbial first-pitch of his own. For now, teams will have to play without live crowd noise.

There's no saying teams will take up this offer, but at least there are states ready for sports to start back up again.
