New Stamps Show off Flowers from The Huntington

The US Postal Service has debuted it's newest stamp designs, one of which features the flora of a local botanical garden.

The new stamp collection is called American Gardens and one in particular will feature some of the beautiful sights at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino.

The Huntington is an expansive garden with acres of beautiful plants and flowers and in the stamp design chosen, a black rose Aeonium is in the foreground of the photograph, while various stately succulents and cacti fill out the remainder of the frame.

Other botanical gardens are apart of the collection, including The Biltmore Estate Garden in North Carolina and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

The collection is available for purchase today.
