Bald Eagles Nest in an Arizona Cactus for the First Time Since 1930s

For the first time in many decades, bald eagles were spotted nesting in an Arizona cactus.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department tweeted photos of the scene as biologists discovered the eagle family during a recent survey.

The agency says that was the first time an image of eagles nesting in a saguaro cactus has been captured in the state.

Biologists have looked for years for this kind of sighting...they say the last known mention of this kind of occurrence was in 1937.
