The Netflix documentary series reportedly has a new episode launching this week, but another media outlet is also planning to capitalize on the Joe Exotic story.
The Investigation Discovery network is planning a true crime special called 'Investigating The Strange World of Joe Exotic'. The press release says the show will dive deeper into Joe Exotic's personal life, look more into the roles played by Jeff Lowe and Doc Antle, and of course.... A further investigation to find out if Carol Baskin actually murdered her husband.
“Viewers are understandably riveted by Netflix’sTiger King, but the millions of true crime fans around the world were left wanting more,” said Henry Schleiff, Group President ID, Travel Channel, American Heroes Channel and Destination America. “ID is the perfect place to find the inevitable sequel to this drama – featuring a missing husband, a hit man, and the illegal business of exotic animals. It’s time to let the cat out of the bag and address the lingering questions that viewers demand be answered.”
