Visalia Couple Lured Thieves, Beat Them and Posted Videos on YouTube

Police have arrested a couple they claim would bait would-be thieves into taking a bike, attacking them and then posting videos of the assaults on YouTube.

The Visalia Police Department arrested Corey Cornutt and Savannah Grillot on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy in connection with the series of at least four of the beatings.

The four victims suffered non life-threatening injuries.

In a statement by the department:

“In the videos, it appears as if the suspects planted a bicycle in the front yard of their residence, unsecured, and waited for someone to try and steal the bicycle. Once someone tried to steal the bike, the suspects would rush from the house and assault the individual with a baseball bat.”
