22 Arrested in Chico in Order to 'Improve Quality of Life'

Do you live in Chico? If so, get ready... Your quality of life is about to improve!

According to the Chico Police Department, 22 people were arrested during the CSU Chico and Butte College winter break intersessions to help "improve the quality of life within the City of Chico."

The department sent the Street Crimes D Unit out to address the "quality of life crimes" around the city. The mission of the Street Crimes D Unit is usually to help relieve the street-level crimes during the summer months. However, the unit was deployed during this winter to focus specifically on cleaning up the public spaces in Chico.
