Neighbor Calls Cops After Mistaking Parrot For Woman Screaming For Help

parrot screaming for help and asking to be let out of its cage caused a Florida neighbor to call 911. Video of the incident captured the bird yelling, "Let me out" multiple times while making high-pitched moaning noises.

A little while later, Palm Beach County deputies showed up to the house and found the homeowner in his driveway replacing the brakes on his wife's car.

The officers said they received a report that a woman was screaming for help, and the man, who was not identified, knew the culprit. He went inside his house and brought out Rambo, his 40-year-old parrot. He explained that he taught Rambo to scream for help when he was a kid and the parrot was living in a cage.

The officers all had a laugh and left, while the homeowner introduced Rambo to his concerned neighbor.
