New Report Reveals the Number of Executions Have Declined

Some incredibly sad news has come out....so devastating that I almost don't have the heart to tell Handel because doing so would be the most tragic thing to ever happen to him EVER.

A new report out from the Death Penalty Information Center reveals that executions in the U.S. have hit near-record lows in 2019.

The data shows states executed 22 people in 2019, the second-fewest in nearly 30 years and the fifth year in a row with fewer than 30 executions.

And there's more!

For the first time since 1985, a Gallup poll found that the majority of those surveyed prefer life in prison as a punishment for murder.

OH THE HUMANITY!
