9-Year-Old Twins Use Social Media to Find Bone Marrow Donor for Their Dad

A pair of twins are hoping to use the power of social media to find a bone marrow donor for their father.

Nine-year-old twins Ava and Leah Clements are spreading the word about their father's battle with both leukemia and lymphoma.

Kevin’s wife Jaqi Clements says the diagnosis was incredibly unexpected as her husband is an athlete who just barely missed qualifying for the Olympics.

“We thought ‘What could this be?’ and we just never ever thought that it could be cancer. That would be like the last thing on our minds.”

Using #KevinCrushingCancer the family wants to find a match for him, but also say that it would also be amazing if it also helped saved someone else's life.

The Clements are also joining forces with the non-profit DKMS to hold a bone marrow drive.

The drive will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Ranch House Great Room located at 35 Ascenso Ave. Rancho Mission Viejo, CA 92694.
