An Oklahoma man died after he got stuck while trying to climb inside a clothing donation bin. A passerby noticed the man was "hanging half in and half out" of the donation bin, which is located in the parking lot of a shuttered grocery store, and called 911.
First responders quickly arrived on the scene and they managed to free the man from the bin after a few minutes. He was unresponsive, and paramedics attempted to revive him. They rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.
"It appears the male was attempting to remove items from the donation bin," Okmulgee Police Chief Joe Prentice said. "The male has not been positively identified at this point."
Officials said they are awaiting the results of the autopsy to determine how he died.
