California Teen Used Remote-Controlled Car to Smuggle Meth into U.S.

A California teen has been busted by the US Border Patrol for allegedly smuggling meth into the country with the help a remote-controlled car.

Agents picked up the 16-year-old over the weekend after spotting him walking along the border wall near San Diego while holding two large duffel bags and the RC vehicle.

Inside the bags were about 55 pounds worth of meth which authorities say has an estimated street value of $106,096.

Though officers think the car was likely driven by someone inside Mexico the teen is still set to face multiple federal drug smuggling charges.
