David Begnaud with CBS News is a changed man living his authentic life

David Begnaud is a CBS News correspondent who grew up in Louisiana. These days, he's based out of New York City. But he's also worked out of Miami and Dallas. Prior to joining CBS News he worked for Larry King's Ora TV, KTLA in Los Angeles, as well as in Sacramento and his hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana. He was thrust into the LA news spotlight with his live coverage of the Occupy LA raid outside City Hall. A few years later he was thrust into the international news spotlight with his weeks-long coverage of Hurricane Maria and its aftermath in Puerto Rico in 2017. David became so important in the Puerto Rican community in the US he was in the 2018 National Puerto Rican Day Parade in NYC. Also in 2018, David went public with his a) years-long relationship with his partner, Jeremy b) nearly lifelong battle managing and overcoming Tourette Syndrome. Enjoy our convo!
