Little Change to Average L.A. Gas Price

Koehler Urges Higher Gas Prices

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today for the second consecutive day.

The average price of $3.675 is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 4.9 cents higher than one month ago and six-tenths of a cent greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 28.4 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.64, one day after decreasing seven-tenths of a cent. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 3.8 cents more than one month ago and 2.7 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 29.1 cents since the start of the year.
