CORONA (CNS) - Roughly 3,000 marijuana plants were seized from a Temescal Valley home where an illegal indoor cannabis grow was discovered, authorities said today.

Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Ray Ricken said county fire crews were sent about 8 a.m. Saturday to investigate reports of residential flooding at the two-story residence in the 11000 block of Bunting Circle, just west of Interstate 15, about eight miles south of Corona. When they accessed the property to identify the source of the water overflow, they discovered the grow, the sergeant said.

Deputies were notified, and a search warrant was obtained. The plants were seized and hauled away as evidence, Ricken said.

No one has been arrested.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the sheriff's Lake Elsinore station at 951-245-2300.
