HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - A SWAT team was working today to arrest a possibly suicidal woman with a gun who was holed up in a residence in Hollywood.
Officers went to the 1700 block of North Orange Drive about 6:35 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman was believed alone in the residence, police said. Some evacuations were ordered as a precaution.
A crisis negotiation team was also sent to the scene. The standoff was continuing early this afernoon.
