SANTA ANA (CNS) - The estranged husband of a ``Real Housewives of Orange County'' cast member was free on bail today following his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence.

Matthew Kirschenheiter, 35, was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday and booked on suspicion of felony corporal injury of spouse, said Carrie Braun of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. He was released Sunday after posting bond, she said.

Details of the alleged domestic violence were not immediately available.

His wife, Gina Kirschenheiter, who is facing a drunken driving charge filed earlier this year, filed for divorce in April. The two married in May 2010 and separated in March of last year. They have two sons and a daughter ages 5, 4 and 2.

Gina Kirschenheiter filed court papers Monday seeking a restraining order against her husband.

Messages left with the attorneys for the Kirschenheiters were not immediately returned.
