Suspects Sought in Shooting That Killed Young Man At West Covina Party

WEST COVINA (CNS) - Sheriff's detectives today released images of two suspects being sought in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old La Mirada man at a party in West Covina, where two other people were also wounded.

The fatal shooting victim was identified as Dennis Bracamonte, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Officers from the West Covina Police Department responded at 10:30 p.m. Friday to the 300 block of North Hollow Avenue, near Sunset Avenue, according to Deputy Erin Liu of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which was assisting West Covina police with the homicide investigation.

Police learned that a fight broke out at the party and located three shooting victims at the scene, the Sheriff's Information Bureau reported.

Bracamonte was pronounced dead at the location. Two male teenagers suffered gunshot wounds to their legs. They were taken to a hospital. A female teenager was self-admitted to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
